Flow conditioner
Flow conditioners are basically used to provide a laminar stream and significantly reduce the Reynolds number of a turbulent flow. A proper Reynolds number is mandatory for an accurate flow measurement. These devices have several different types with different design and effects for distinct application such as bundle type perforated type, vane type, etc.
